We are The Clique, a sophisticated duo with Gilly Clinton on vocals and flute and Derek Deadman on acoustic guitar. We have performed at renowned music venues, 5 star hotels, top restaurants, prestigious corporate and private events, weddings, celebration parties and music festivals throughout the UK as well as at international venues for over 15 years.

We are based on the border of Hampshire/Surrey/Berkshire and are happy to perform throughout the UK or overseas.

We love performing our range of melodic and intimate acoustic quirky renditions of classic artists including Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Kate Bush, Madness, Elton John, Aha, Duran Duran, The Cure, Toto, George Michael, Patti Smith, Jefferson Airplane, Adele, Harry Styles, and so many more...A full song list can be requested.

Our range is extensive and we are always happy to perform a special song where possible.

If your event requires a livelier party atmosphere then we’ve got you covered there too! With the switch of one acoustic guitar to electric guitar, and the addition of high quality, customised backing tracks, we are ready to get the dance floor moving. From 60s to current chart hits there’s music to suit all age groups. Whatever your needs, we will be happy to tune our set to what you like best.

We have our own fully equipped technical set up including PA and intimate lighting but are as comfortable playing without acoustics for a more atmospheric performance if required. All equipment is PAT tested and we are fully insured.

We contacted Gilly and Del about playing at our prestigious International Horse Trials event on The Duke of Wellington’s estate. Gilly provided prompt communication with their set lists and equipment requirements. They played numerous sets over the August Bank Holiday weekend. They engaged with the crowd wonderfully and adapted to the changing weather conditions. We look forward to welcoming them back in 2023
